Presenting collated outcomes from a socially engaged public participation project created during Lockdown in spring 2020. In this audio diary of lives in Lockdown, anonymous messages left on my answering machine reply to questions publicly posted on Instagram: What are you missing? What will you treasure? What are you accepting?
The project was a direct counterpoint to the impersonal data and unhelpful rhetoric being presented in the media. It felt vital to hear real peoples’ stories, and to capture their voices, rich with pauses, ums & errs as they grappled to shape their thoughts and feelings into words.
