Mail Art Project
With travel plans halted by Lockdown, I sent postcards of my home to people and places I had intended to visit this year, inviting them to respond with a photograph of my postcard taken somewhere we would have spent time together. Four versions were created showing everyday domestic views and mailed to locations in the UK, Europe and beyond.
Postcards embody a playful heritage of seaside holidays, and are something I love to send from my travels and to receive from others. Living vicariously through the photos taken by my accommodating 'hosts' I created this 'holiday' photo album for Summertime 2020.
